Come on guys. These are just 70w Halogens.

My .02 on all of the ricer bulbs:

A) I would suspect these will set off the check lights indicator in the MFD and the cluster because of incorrect wattage.

B) If you've had HIDs before you know these suck in comparison.

C) You immediately put yourself in the "wanna-be" category. I see Civics with these bulbs all the time and shake my head.

First of all, whitema, my response was to Memo who was looking for a Halogen bulb which "looked like" HID - in other words, has the same color temperature as the HID bulbs used in the Touareg.

The Hoen Xenonmatch Titanium bulbs match the Touareg Xenons very well - I use them in my "flash to pass" bulb position which is VAG'd for the six-light-salute so they also come on with the Xenons when High Beams are selected.

My opinion of aftermarket HID bulbs in the Touareg is that they are not well advised. Either pony up for the OEM Xenons or put in whatever Halogen bulbs suit your fancy.
