I am at my wits end when it comes to this vehicle. I just purchased this vehicle about a month ago and love it, but been running into some issues when it comes to the headlights. I have replaced every bulb in the assembly with new bulbs but still get no light from the most inner bulbs on both sides. Only receiving light from the Xenons.
Interestingly enough I do get an error for Check Headlight Range Control on the dash when I turn the vehicle on. I read a couple of older threads about the possibility of this being a level sensor issue in the front driver wheel well. Im in the process of trying to change the part, but its not a cheap part to begin with.
Ran through the VCDS lite and only errors populating are an ABS error and Cat issues which I was made aware when purchased, but nothing in regards to this headlight issue.
Is is the controller underneath the headlight assembly? Is it the actual assembly that needs replacing. I honestly wish I knew someone in the Philly area who can just swap their headlights with me to see if that is the issue. Any direction is helpful.
