Got the P2279 air flow error. Only symptom is that she will idle roughly. I believe i found the source of the leak, but don' know what this item is. Tried Autozone and Advance auto parts and they didn't either. If i push down on it the air noise will stop and the idle will settle down. I assume it's a faulty gasket or flange, but would appreciate any input.

Hi I am having this same P2279 code on a 2011 Touareg V8, 7P.
The car runs fine, and idles fine as well.
I erase the code with a scanner and some days later it comes back again.

The code started after a pneumatic shock absorber replacement, I do not know if it is a coincidence or not. The shocks and compressor are all good.

Any ideas on how to adress the issue?
