Hello everybody!
I recently purchased a 2004 Volkswagen Touareg. The previous owner had gone through a nasty divorce and the ex ended up with the key. I have clean proof of ownership that i took to the dealer and had a key cut with the vin. I was hoping to not have to trailer the truck again to the dealer just to have a key mated to the immobilizer.
Could i defeat the Immobilizer all together? or
I have already read about vagTacho and was hoping i could go a route like that. I've also read that the T1 Touareg's have the more simple static SKC code thats why im really hoping i could just do this my self. I also have a pretty solid IT background.
any help or advice would be great thanks in advance
