glove shelf bracket

Hello guys! I just bought a 2008 Touareg 2 V6 and I want to buy the glovebox shelfkit. On Tregcentral they charge you $45 more if you want it with brackets. I have no idea if I need that of what that is for. Does anyone knows? Thanks.
