Engine Shudder

I have has this Touareg for 1 year and 4 months.No problems at all until today.My engine light came on and now the engine vibrates or shudders when I am at a stop.Also exceleration is slow as well.I have read something somewhere before but can not find it.Road side service is picking it up in a bit and I will be getting a loaner.
If this one starts having problems like my first Touareg I will be getting something else.2 times will be enough for me.

Sounds like misfiring or no firing at all in one ore more cylinder. Coil pack or ignition wire?

A couple friends of mine work at the dealership.Fortunantly one of them is the VW tech.I told him it might be the coil and he said it could be possible but I will know for sure tomorrow.He was going to at least check it on the computer before he left.
The cool thing is that they gave me a brand new 2007 Accord with only 13 miles on it.It has been a while since I have sat in one of these.This thing rides way better than mine several years ago.There is big difference with the way they are made now.
