Hey everyone,

I hope there isn't a thread like this already, I've tried to search the forum and found nothing. I know the prices kbb and edmunds say and that's typically what people go off of but I always see Touaregs going for different prices and it's about time to sell mine. Gas is getting to be a bit much for me(I'm 17 and bought the car myself). I was curious what you Reg vets would value an '05 v6 with 122,800 miles with from what I can tell all the options a 05 v6 could have(nav, parking sensors, automatically leveling headlights, heated seats, etc) the inside is incredibly well taken care of with no rips or much wear. While the exterior has the normal scratches and small rock chips, with one little dent on the trunk. I know this may seem dumb to ask I just want to get others opinions on a fair price. Kbb says less then 7,000 in good condition and edmunds says 9,100 in clean.

Thanks a ton for any advice guys and or girls,
Jordan

Your area and the price of similar tregs will dictate the price you should/could be asking. Without any outside knowledge of the comps in your area, i think about 9000 is a fair price....but in the states cars tend to be cheaper so maybe 8000 would be more appropriate.

I sold my 2004 treg V6 with everything including air suspension (minus navi and sensors and 4-zone climate or winter package) with 215000 kms (roughly 133000 miles) for $6500 BUT mine needed new tires and also had some bumper damage so i would post it for 9000 and see where the ball drops.

Awesome thank you very much for the help:)

Ended up selling it for $9800 with some 22's on it!! Woo hoo! I just picked up a 2009 Sapphire blue Lux Limited with 66k miles on it now :)
So gas prices were really not the reason for selling it since you got back into another one with less miles. Just admit it, you wanted a newer one! :)

It really was the reason and I'm supposed to move to California later but after I sold my '05 I saw the new one and it was a great deal and just had to pick it up:)

That thread makes me to smile broadly. First it reminded about tai101 writings (his youth dilemmas and so on). Then that young author's iron logic and chain of actions. :)

@OP, Good luck with your new ride and don't forget to update your Treg manufacture year.

Haha I figured it'd be great for the snow and I had an opportunity for a great deal so I took it. :) Yes I'm young but I work hard for my money just like anyone else and it definitely made the most bang for my buck.

Oh wow! That's really impressive! Mine looked great but had a few flaws here and there that had to be taken care of. Thanks though, I'm absolutely loving it:) Except I need new brakes and a headlight went out this morning:(

Hey guys!

Looks like I'm more than likely moving to SoCal in the next half a year. I was wondering what you all think is a good price for my 2009 Touareg Lux Limited. It has under 69k miles right now. Never been in an accident. No issues what so ever.
Has almost every option I possibly know of including:
Carbon fiber trim
Nav
Adaptive Cruise Control
two tone leather
heated seats
blind spot monitoring
front and back parking sensors
V6 Gas
etc

I was thinking 20K Let me know your opinions please

A 2011 model will be valued much higher than your 2010 because the Touareg underwent a major makeover from 2010 to 2011. Also, the TDI is valued higher than the gas V6, so the value of a 2011 (or newer) Exec. trim TDI is not going to really relate very much to what you should get for your car...except that your expectations should be lower.

Oh I know that don't worry. It just reminded me I should definitely check out a dealer price as well.

Some people really love that blue. Some aren't so crazy about the two tone interior. ACC and blind spot monitoring is a definite plus.

By NAV, safe to assume you are talking about the RNS510? Dynaudio? Heated steering wheel?

As you know, V6 gasser not as desired as the V6 TDI. Brakes are done, that's a plus. What about your 60K service interval? How are the tires?

It's the stock, non-dvd Nav so yeah probably RNS510. Is there any way to tell if it has Dynaudio? I'm fairly certain it does. Heated Steering wheel, unfortunately not. The 60K interval should have been done as I purchased afterward and it checked out when inspected during brake job. Tires are solid condition not brand new but not too old.
