Boston Area T-Reg Appreciation Day!

I'm looking to organize the first Annual Boston Area T-Reg Appreciation Day. I thought I'd check out local parks and find out the possibility of having a potluck & BBQ although it would have to be alcohol free if it's in a public park. Then again, we shouldn't be drinking and driving anyway. I'm figuring on a Saturday in June or July but I'm open to anything that gets tossed back. Is anybody out there interested? Thoughts, suggestions, ideas? Let me know.

"Thanx for spreading the word. So far I have found that Waverley Oaks Park/Beaver Brook Reservation is a possibility. It's a pretty big park, has some grills although we could bring our own, no alcohol, closes at dusk. If the event will involve more than 25 people, there's a permit fee of $17. I could arbitrarily pick a couple of days and check availability but I think it would be better if folks get back to me with Saturday vs. Sunday, what month is best, number of people attending, and I'll go from there. Really looking forward to hearing from you "Treggies" (ok, I know that was bad) out there."
