Hello

I have been driving the truck for 2 months now and suddenly seems to be less responsive in acceleration, I find myself having to be more aggressive with the gas pedal.....then it downshifts on seems to jerk.....

Anyone else notice a difference on their new '13 model? I was told by the dealer that it can also be the gas stations I go to,,, I have used a different one recently.....
Can this be the cause??

Tx in advance.

I hope you use diesel, not gas, for fuel in your TDI. Buy your fuel from a high volume diesel station near a busy freeway or interstate, like a truck stop. Also, get some fuel treatment additive like Diesel Kleen White Bottle that takes the moisture out of your fuel, so it doesn't allow moisture to freeze on your fuel filter surface and block fuel flow. Sounds like you bought some crappy wet fuel with a lot of water in it and a poorly maintained fuel station.

Do NOT force your car to stutter and starve for fuel in this condition, drive it gently until you get the problem diagnosed and fixed. You can be doing irreparable damage to the HPFP by causing starvation and cavitation of HPFP and wreck it.

I would first do an inspection of the fuel filter and inside the fuel canister, looking for signs of water in them, after the motor is warmed up.

The timing makes me wonder if you're not just very sensitive and noticing that fuel stations are switching over to winter blend diesel....

My advice, reset transmission first, as it is easiest.
Next, check your fuel filter and housing for signs of water or sludge.
If both are negative, try adding some power diesel cetane boost and see if you feel the difference that makes. If you do, you are incredibly sensitive!
