Additional Thread
Thanks for the responses, I started another thread on this last night (since I fogot about this one). I have new information. I did at least look at the driver side rear filter pump area, and it was dry and clean with no fuel smell.
I have noticed that when the truck is cold (it has been single digit temperatures lately) when I start the truck and put the heater / defroster fans on high to warm up the truck the cabin fill with the fuel smell (very very strong, it has gotten much much worse since I started this thread)
Once the truck is warm (30 min or driving the smell goes away) also if I turn off the fan or put on the recirc button, the smell goes away.
It seems that the smell is coming from a leak near the intake for the HVAC system (not sure where the air is sucked into the car).
I fear that this is a bolt or connection that when the air is really cold thermal contraction causes a leak and as it warms up the gap closes...ugh
