I am in need of new tires for my 2012 TDI Touareg. The tires are currently Goodyear LS-2 and ride well but I only have 30,000 miles and was hoping to get some advice as to what others recommend. I have the 265/50/19. I live in FLorida and will not need winter tires.

If you don't have the steering wheel vibration, then fit exactly the same again or the Michelin Latitude Tours that VWoA tell people with vibrations to fit. I would not risk fitting anything else if I had a vibration free T3.

Make sure the wheels are torqued up accurately at 133 ft lbs before the car is set back down on the ground too.

I assume you know you must always fit a set of 4 identical tires to avoid the possibility of wind up in the transmission which may result in damaging it.

New tires for Touareg...

When our AT2's were finally wearing out, I went to Sears to see what their Falkens would run me, and then found the same tires on the Amazon Web site that shipped for free... I then went back to Sears with the "Price match" quote as to what I could get them to my doorstep and they not only would not match the price, but also informed me that they would not install/balance/wheel alignment all 4 for me... The salesman went to his supervisor with the numbers and that is what I was told... So, I then went to a local busisnessman who has been in business since there was a dirt road down the middle of town, and he got my business and the out the door bill was less than the Sears price just for the tires... so, a win/win for the local business and me...
