Sweet collaboration!

All sounds good to me. Ron and I are both around Melbourne, so i think that can help the shipping of two wheels down here at some stage.

I am flexible with payment....provided my wheel turns up.

If anybody is still looking for a full size 17" Alloy spare, I have some for sale
(I did, but had to buy 4), Only really want 1 (maybe 2) so I'm happy to sell single wheels, haven't got room to store 4 spares!
17" x 7.5" Genuine VW Touareg 2008 Model wheels
Offset: 55mm
Rims are in perfect condition
Tyres are worn
Happy for buyer to arrange own frieght, I used E-Go and cost around $50 (Canberra to Melb) for 4 wheels, so one should be around $20 for 1

Spare Wheel

Was Ben interested in the 17" spare ?
If not I am.
Have 2009 V6TDI and often tow a horse float, so nervous about getting a flat one day with only dinky space saver spare.

Hi, Ben,
I have been using a 17" full spare for a couple of years on my off road treks around Oz. Currently back in Cairns after completeing a trip to the the tip of Cape York. One thing I have picked up is rim cracks on the inside of the wheel. Most likely from rocks on more extreme tracks/ creek crossings. Just get them welded once home but cost about $150. This is known problem with alloys and steel rims don't suffer from this problems so the experts say, whether this be true i don't know. Yes I found out the hard way that the R5 rims don't fir the V6 TDI, so wacth out for that.
