Driver Door Handle Broken - verflucht nochmal

Verflucht nochmal - german = #@$@@! damn it!!!!! :)

driverside door handle broke off. I got a new one from VW. now I'm trying to replace it. I'm wondering if I have to take the entire door panel apart, or if I only have to remove the plastic switch panel by the handle.

anyone remove that before?

yup. just to confirm for you guys. the door panel has to be removed. 2 screws by the handle, 2 screws on bottom. rest are plastic clips. pull panel off slowly so clips don't break. three wiring harnesses need to be disconnected as well.
