Key Symbol on Dashboard

Hi All,
So I start up the 2007 v6 touareg this morning and it started fine but cant move the gear shifter cause its locked into place. Then a gold key comes up on the dashboard.. Has anyone ever seen this before.?

Yes tried the other key no luck, Checking the bottom now.. TY

No Luck

No luck.. I have the tow truck here looking to pick up the truck. But we cant get the system unlocked to move the vehicle..

2004 Touareg

I saw a key symbol flash across my dash then a system fault error. I read the manual and it says my key battery need to be changed. Is this accurate?

Replace the battery in your key. It is what it is.
