2004 Touareg. AWD, V8, Navigation, air ride suspension, 4 zone climate control.

Runs and drives very good. Everything seems to work properly. 100,100 miles. Interior very good condition, body in great condition with 2 dings, no dents or rust. The clear coat is failing, and in numerous place. I have contacted a few body shops and all 3 said that it would need a new base, clear to do a proper job. Panels are straight. Exhaust is a magnaflow and has a light tone. Driving down the road it is quiet. When you get on it there is a healthy but not crazy tone. I don't believe the exhaust detracts from the quality of a luxury SUV. There is no resonance or annoyance from the tone while cruising. Right now the windshield is broken but I am on scheduled to have it replaced next week late.

Asking $9900. I can deliver this vehicle on a car trailer but details would need to be worked out or have a carrier haul it for you. I am in the UP of Mi, 49929

The SUV is very nice other than the clear coat. I hate to sell it but winters in the UP are severe and salt just destroys car and this one is way to nice to see it be subjected to our winters. I bought it from a guy from Colorado who's mom lives in Ironwood Mi and that is how it got to the UP. He bought it in 2011 in Colorado where he lives. He had a few problems with it and flew back to Co and just listed it for sale so I bought it and fixed it.

Here is the VIN if you wanna do a report. No reports of accidents: WVGCM67L04D031053

yes it is and you are right, I don't like the looks either. Stock exhaust there is a cover over the mufflers but since the last guy modified the exhaust he wasn't able to use it and thus the ugliness.

She's lookin' real good, Lenny! Too bad about that clearcoat issue, though hard to see unless you're up close, I suppose.
Yup, it really is unfortunate but at least the body is very straight and has potential to look superb. The treg has been in the Colorado sun all t's life and I suppose that may be a factor in the failing clear. I had a guy ask me if he could try an repair the clear and I said no way. It's too nice a vehicle to cover up things. I much rather see someone who loves these things bring it back and have a strong appreciation for it. Here is the deal, I probably never be able to own one financially along with the proper maintenance, insurance and repairs so as this deal came up I went for it hoping to make a few bucks. My nephew is a VW mechanic in West Chicago Illinois but I now live to far to bug him over the phone every time something comes up. I do though kinda feel like I am being bitten by the Treg bug as the more I drive it and mess with it the more I appreciate this fine SUV. It really is a step above most vehicles. My wife drove it for the first time last night and she fights even talking about it so she doesn't become attached. I am 47 years old and have worked on vehicles since I was 16 and figure out things somewhat easy, not bragging just love fixing things.

I drove the Treg around this 80 acre property which has many roads. I wanted to test out the AWD, dif lock, air sus and tiptronic mode. The SUV performed flawlessly. It climbs a decent hill idling in 1st gear, descends holding a very slow speed with no brakes on. Very well designed vehicle. When I got to the top of the bluff I raised the shocks up all the way for extra clearance and it worked well.

New price 10,000.

Brakes repaired, tiptronic function repaired, new windshield. All functions work as they should. This Treg will come with a winter set of wheels, Itali 18's with Pirelli scorpion Ice and snow tires. Touareg is fully detailed and looks great.
