It's .... scratch deep? haha. I dunno how to explain how deep it is. But it was scratch X that I used. Not scratch doctor. Didn't really do much.

That stuff doesn't really work too well. Even for the car. Unless I'm using it wrong? Do I need to leave it on for a while before buffing it out?

That scratch kit just sounds plain intimidating.

Scratch X works best on surfaces like your the wood in your interior and rear light lenses. Not too abrasive, yet just enough to bring things back to a gloss. Also, hand versus machine is what it is. Try your scratch X with a rotary machine on high speed. If that doesn't work, you need to move up to a harsher compound.

Duly noted.

Hi everybody,
Decided to simply angle the tips upward. It does look much better. Turningthem upside down was not an option. One tip is actually a little crooked. And it shows too much when aligned with the bumper :/ .

Also... Parts of my fender near the bottom of the car came undone! I will redo them, wash, and post pictures.

I also got my tint done. Looks cool.

Have a good week everybody

The 5th and 9th picture moving downwards are my favourite in post #25. Almost Audi Allroad'ish but different. Love the rear middle Touareg emblem!

Did you treat the rest of the textured black lowers with Vinylex or something along those lines to blend in the flares? I'm noticing some contrast.

Yea picture #9 is my favorite. I did polish the black last time when I installed the fenders. Got kind of lazy this time around.

What do you mean ALMOST. Please, this car is in a class of its own. The audi allroad looks ugly imo.

However, having added these fenders has only grown my appetite. I want W12 flares now -_-..

Okay, I take the Allroad comment back, but I meant it as a compliment ;).

This is what I was afraid of :-|.

The notch in those front flairs looks out of place. Are they for the T2? I am not sure why the notch is so high if it was a cut out for the side reflector.

These flares were originally for T1. They never made one for T2, I'm guessing because they are the same exact fit. All except for that cutout. The notch fits perfectly with the T1 reflector.

Most don't notice. I'm starting to like it in a looks almost like teeth kind of way. But that's just me.
