which wires to tap on the amp for sub woofer

i have 2006 v10 w/ 8 chan audio. my amp is located above the cd changer. i see it has some plugs going to it.

which of these wires do i tap for audio input to my amp?

do i need a crossover?

i cant remember what the colors are for sure but i think they are blue/ brown, and blue/white. you can take the plug off the amp in the back and just splice in the wires there i also found ignition power in that same plug for the amp read wire. let me know if you need more help i will check for sure what wires i used.

ok i checked everywhere... i cant find info on where to hook this thing up. i have my amp unplugged. and i see lots of twisted pairs. the mtx req i have says i need a left speaker and right speaker. does it matter if its a woofer/tweeter/mid range? how do i know which is which? a few places online have noted that vw schematics are inaccurate.

can you please tell me for sure which wires you used?

i called vw and they say that the left front and right front woofer have white+yellow/brown+yellow wires. i cant imagine that possible to have a left and right the same wiring???? same was the issue with the front mids...

help, anyone?

I just installed a subwoofer amp in my car, and it works and sounds great. However, after putting the dash back together i noticed my display no longer dims when i turn on the headlights. I know it sounds trivial, but it's a rather bright blue display which gets very distracting during nighttime driving.

not to be an ass, but i posted here asking for wiring help. your post is not helpful to me in any way shape or form.

if you have T1 with dvd nav and you ran wiring from the factory amp please let me know what wires were used, otherwise please create another thread with your current issue.
