I too am looking for an 10' TDI but only if it can be had for some serious savings. The only options I want is the air suspension and HID lights. According to the configurator the msrp is 50,500 with the luxury and air. but then the only way i can get HID is a 5K option package. Is that right?

Going to be nearly impossible to find a T-reg configured this way and I'd almost be willing to bet that there is not a single 2010 in the country with air sitting on a lot. My understanding is that air suspension was only available if the person ordered and paid up front. I have seen one used 10 with air but it also had lux. I also think a dealer who has a TDI with air would be willing to sit on it as this is such a rare vehicle....

I agree with Nor Cal Treg. I looked for a 2010 with Air, but was told they were very rare & usually were overloaded with packages because dealers were really pushing for big prices. I only found one & it only came with stuff I didn't want added.

thanks guys. Ya if i can't find one I may just save some more pennies and hope for air in 2012. Although a base TDI with 6-8k off may be the smart way to go.
That's the way to go unless you want to wait for a certified used one...but that might be a couple years. And I doubt you'll get one with air...people who want those will probably keep them awhile.

The 2010s are getting more and more rare as the weeks go on!

Finally did see the Top Gear where they drove the 2011 across a frozen lake in Sweden...was a V6 TDI...and it was obvious the Euros get the 4XMOTION option whereas we Yanks do not.

I, for one, do not hold out hope that air suspension or 4XMOTION will come back as dealer-ordered options even if they are made available again in the North American market -- Tregs will sell well enough without those, especially if the fuel economy keeps going up. And the one or two out of a hundred who want those options will order them no matter what the price. I'm sure the 2011 is a quite capable off-roader, however. Would love to hear how one fares at the Ouray thing this year!

In the mean time...I will enjoy my 2010. 20.2mpg around town so far! Still haven't filled it up, and I drive it every day!

Not sure how capable it would be with no low range and it sits lower then the previous model steel suspended ones. I think the approach angles changed as well.

Also agree with nor cal treg. Found on AutoTrader.com that Autobahn VW of Evanston has/had 2010 TDI with 4-corner suspension w/CDC, cool $60,265.
Make them an offer, if you like the color. That one is a loaded Lux Limited. With 2011 out now, that one is going to sit.
