Skid spoilers installation

I bought these skid spoilers for the front and rear ,but I am not sure if this is a simple install or should I take it to a shop. The instruction look a little complicated to me. I'm not sure if the brackets go on the skids or on the actual bumper of the vehicle. I'm handy with tools and stuff and can pretty much figure things out ,but I am having problems with this one. Also I notice that the muffler tips are pretty close almost hitting the skids. Any idea's you can throw my way.
These are oem vw parts not aftermarket.

Sorry for all the questions just want to get it right.

Wondered the same thing as I wanted to get the ones from ECS...... curious about the install, educate us all if you find it out :)

I could not get the rear to fit on mine at all. the tips were in the way, i even went as far as trimming the rear skid cover and then just gave up. so I only have the front installed. the side fender flares and the rear spoiler.

It was a little tricky to understand, i agree.

The rear did not fit? Hmm thats odd they should fit all 04-07 Mine fit fine just took some time. I used black rtv which is the same thing as the glue the require.

Well..it all depends if you have PDC since the guards do not fit PDC equipped vehicles. Not unless you want to cut holes and remount the PDC or easier yet get a NON-PDC valence...
