My wife and I just picked our new Touareg up today. A black 2010 TDI Lux Limited. She loved the interior, I love the pulling power. So far happy owner I'm sure I will have plenty of questions.

Welcome, I have a 2004 T-reg V8, bought it brand new and I love it. Im at 90,000 miles and just had my first major repair. Very complex coolong system. Replaced fans, thermostat, timing belt and water pump. $2700. OUCH! But I do love the car. Will post my story on this repair when I get my car out.

It has the Lux Limited with two tone cricket leather dark brown outer with the lighter beige inners. Black magic paint, had them add the tow bar. Price paid was 2000 off sticker 48250 and gave a very good trade on my Avalon Limited. We are getting use to the power it has everywhere we go I find myself speeding.

imanikrystelle, please let us know the repair story. I'm having the same issue with 2005 V8 at 76,000 miles. Got the coolant overheating warning light but my local mechanic can't fix because he needs a special tool to get to the poorly designed thermostat. What happened to German engineering?
I had similar work, excepting the fans, done last week @ 85k mi. Gory details here. I recommend German Car Depot, in Hollywood, FL. They do only VW and Audi. Plus, tax is only 6%... :joy:

Hello all I have a 2004 Touareg v8 46k Wheat Biege. This is our first VW I look forward to doing some business on the classified section to make the vehicle the way I want it.
