Hello all: First of all I am pretty new to this forum, and I may have missed an existing post which deals with this - if so I apologize, I am still learning to navigate.
I have a 2005 Touareg, I acquired a rebuilt rack to replace the existing one. It turned out the the one I got was meant for a Servotronic-equipped vehicle, and my vehicle didn't have servotronic steering originally. There is a an opening on the rack which seems to need either a sensor or a cover, but this part did not come with the rack. There are small screw holes which I assume were to fasten this.
Can anyone tell me what this part is, and how can I get it? I don't need the Servotronic functionality obviously since the car didn't have it anyway.
