I am planning to change oil in my transmission and diffs. I ran into a problem identifying if I had locking differentials: nothing in my owners manual, no build info in the rear cargo area above or below the spare. Plan C took me to the dealer where the parts tech provided some printouts after consulting with the service dept. He also made it clear he didn't want to "spend too much time on this." Since the wrong fluid is worse than old fluid, can someone confirm both front and back diffs are non-locking. He also gave me 3 sheet of "Car Data" based on VIN, but no info about differentials there, only PR Numbers and descriptions of options. Could anyone provide an example of a "Build Sheet" so I know what I'm looking for.
