Update on the brakes - measured the rotors 35.4mm so they are well within specs (36 to 34 min). Must be a dealer thing to replace the brakes at 120K kilometers. Pads look good too. Don't know how to measure them though. They forgot to stamp my service book, said bring it in next time. May not be a next time!!
The focus is to wash the vehicle and rotate the tyres and oh change oil, filters. Not the air filters. The email said bring in all sets of keys to change the batteries, they were surprised when I gave them all the keys, they said they only needed one.
This is the first time I have had a vehicle serviced by a dealer in years. What a disappointment.
My 2.7TDI AWD Ford has an oil change, oil filter, air filter every 10K kilometers. It has 260K kilometers up and is going strong.
I went ahead and changed my transfer case, front and rear diff fluid while I was at it too.

Bruh, I've already told you several times that I want to be YOU when I grow up..... what else do you want?
We can't all be superstars!

Quit flexing so hard !!!!!
Stop being triggered, it's distasteful at this point your constant winning about me..

C3performance , that was a tuning shop and you were so welcoming on the first post. they never posted again.

Just saying it's somewhat encouraging you can be friendly in welcome me posts now than before, but a tech post it's savagesnooty. Overtime.

It's not a flex, for anyone to talk about their past. I don't care whether you do, nor do I joke about wanting to be you.

Ps this is a post about brakes fyi

I don't see this as "flexing".
Just a member stating how expensive it is to deal with dealerships these days. Nothing unlike so many other members on here have said, myself included.

The Bremtecs work fine for me and certainly a lot less dust, compared to the OEM pads. In braking performance maybe a little less initial bite which I prefer as I find many modern cars are over sensitive on initial brake application. No difference in pedal modulation versus the OEM pad. I dont yet know about wear rate but I will monitor to compare with the OEM pads.

The Bremtec pads I used for my V8 R line with the big front brakes were a bit of an experiment as I hated the OEM pad dust and so far I am satisfied. Their Euroline ceramic pads are ECE R-90 approved so they meet the OEM standards and the price was good compared to other alternatives. The R-90 standard allows no more than 15% deviation from OEM characteristics.

However I do recognise that braking performance is a very subjective issue such as my preference for a little less initial bite

Thank you for the info

I can't believe that others have had brake dusting problems with OEM. I had very low dusting with the pads that were on mine when I bought it (OEM), and replaced them with OEM and still have very low dusting.

Photos of the front wheels dusty with OEM pad and rear wheels no signficant brake dust (just a little dirty like the rest of the car) with the Bremtec Euroline pads. This was after about 3 weeks and 1500 kms of driving since I cleaned both wheels and was done as an experiment to see how much the dust changed before changing the front pads. Prior to changing the rears the OEM rears got as dusty as the fronts

Weird. Do you tow a lot?
Mine don't get anywhere as dusty, less dust that your rear wheels with the Bremtec pads.
