Replacement wing mirror

Unfortunately today someone smashed my passenger side mirror..... I have to replace the side mirror due to extent of damage...
I am going to purchase a good used one as a new one from VW is way too expensive for a 20 year old car..
I found a replacement online but I have a question if someone could answer it.. attached is photo of replacement but I am wondering what that second plug with yellow and black wires is for ?
My mirror only has the one beige plug on it and not that little extra plug....

Was your original mirror a heated mirror or anti-dazzle?

But kind of strange because my mirror that is broken had heated and anti glare mirror and did not have that second connection

I have to ask, and this might sound weird, is your Treg a left or right hand drive?

The same happened to me during the week. Does anyone know where I can source the cover and underside plate for a LHS passenger side mirror? The mechanical motor is fine and still works fine but the outer casing/covers have all gone, unfortunately. Thx. Mike
