It’s my turn for the center support issue. :/. I’ve looked through at the various fixes for it. I’m not a fan of the Jimmi fix and would prefer to replace it. I’ve seen a few different styles which is the best replacement option? OEM, JXB, Eurowise or something else?

How long does the center bearing last? I’ve got 128k and do not know if it’s ever been replaced. Should I just go ahead and replace the bearing with the support?

While I’m in the with things torn apart, should the flex disk also be replaced or any other wear items I should address?

One interesting takeaway from our research was these driveshafts spin smoother as their guibos age. While experimenting, we replaced a guibo on an older vehicle. Driving the car up on a lift, it became apparent there was much more driveshaft vibration with the new guibo than the old. As guibos age they become softer, increasing their ability to soak up the angular misalignment without imparting radial forces on the driveshaft. So, if you’re thinking about replacing your guibo “while you’re in there”, don’t. We only recommend replacing them if they’re truly failing. A few small cracks are normal. Keep in mind they’re not solid rubber, so a crack doesn’t mean it’s about to catastrophically fail. They have a wound fibrous core like a tire that holds them together. The rubber is just the glue that holds the fibers in place.

What’s a Guibo?
The Guibo is in post #5. It is different that the center bearing support. You shouldn't even have to deal with it if you do an aftermarket bearing support. JBX brand seems to get recommended a lot.
Sometimes the center bearing will still be good. You could repack it with grease to extend its life.
