Have an error going from Loading Mode to Normal Mode? Could be something wrong with the valve block. You said you've changed the compressor? Its OEM or China? Why was it changed?
I have no errors going between Comfort/Normal/Sport or between Loading/Normal height. The jacking mode works too. I replaced the valve block, compressor and compressor relay with brand new parts (not OEM, AliExpress). I also replaced rear left shock with brand new one (also not OEM, EBay). None of the level sensors looked damaged. All other shocks seemed to hold air. I replaced compressor due to running gear error and it becoming noisy.

I also checked all other fuses related to air suspension and none of them were blown. Hope this helps.

Why did you replace all these parts? Is the fault you have now the same one you had before replacing things?
Yes, but I couldn’t adjust to any level before and it basically immediately came with the running gear fault as soon as I started driving. The rear left shock was also sagging very bad and showed only 2 bar of pressure when hooked up to a scan tool

Also as mentioned above the compressor was very noisy, to the point it made a very loud squeaking noise

If the error only occurs going into off-road mode, could be a faulty height sensor. While monitoring actual height values, raise the vehicle and watch each sensor. They should all increase linearly. If one suddenly reads way off, there’s your issue.

Check for leaks/lose fittings around compressor and valve block. Did you mess something in VCDS, like a coding or adaptation, regarding suspension?
When installing it I used soapy water around all air line connections to valve block and compressor, no leaks. In terms of adaptation, I did it the way you told me and same with the basic setting

Will do asap

Ended up testing today, tried multiple times and only got it to do something sporadic once. The rear left showed a massive change so I decided to order a rear left level sensor, yet the only fault I’m still getting is ‘Mechanical Failure’ which is extremely vague and doesn’t say anything. In theory based off just that error, I might as well spend $5k on all genuine VW shocks/compressor/level sensors etc…

Also the compressor randomly runs while in normal mode, height doesn’t really change and it won’t show anything in the MFD but I hear it all the time while driving, doesn’t make any sense…

If the compressor is running frquently when driving in normal mode with no height change then you have a leak you need to find
This. Monitor the pressure levels of the system (each corner and the reservoir). Your should see something dropping over time. This would also explain why you have an issue when going into off-road mode. Once you find the leak, you’ll need to evacuate the system and recharge with nitrogen.

My levels seem to be even and hold. I remember a few years back hearing a Euro shop tell me about ‘filling with nitrogen’ which I never did after leak testing and replacing components the first time round. How do I fill the system with nitrogen? Can I just contact a shop to do that for me?
