Recently Driving my 3.0 v6 tdi, suddenly the glow plug light started flashing, I put my foot down to get up a hill, car dropped down into 4th, revs shot up but went no where….I’ve plugged into it and got all the codes listed in the title, I checked the swirl flap linkages and both do have a fair amount of play on them, but I’m more worried that the code P2035 could be related to the Actuator or even the turbo itself? Does anyone else have any ideas?

Without knowing what scanner you used and what the scanner thought these codes related to it is hard to comment on what it all means. Generic scanners give a lot of meaningless codes unfortunately.

A full VCDS autoscan is the best starting point. OBD11 is not to bad but really only good for those with the attention span to use a mobile phone for car diagnostic analysis :)

No what I’m saying is, I’ve tried to get readings but the scanner won’t communicate properly and all that will happen is give me these codes? I’m not asking for others to know exactly what’s wrong but more of would the boost sensor fault code be showing due to the swirl flaps being knackered

I repeat.... you don't know how to use the tool.
You (we) need more info..... you need to view Freeze Frame Data, or to log certain PIDs to see what's not going as expected..... if you want to actually diagnose anything.
If you just want generic and vague answers, then YES, your boost issue COULD be related to the flaps being messed up.

Watch the training videos, learn how to use the tool. Just showing the code and description is very minimal information. Click on each of them to get more info. Print out\export the diagnostic report to show the rest, etc.

Log your actual vs requested boost parameters.

Perform output tests on your flaps and see if they are completely stuck, or only partially limited.. correct issue by cleaning them, unfreezing them, etc.

Your boost code is intermittent.... so it only happens sometimes.... without more detail, you don't know if this is at certain temps, rpm, elevations, etc.

Details matter.... you don't have any details....

Good luck and i suggest you talk to the Snapon help desk given the money you paid for the tool and thier online support to interpret what you are seeing as by itself it is hard to assist with a screen shot of a few codes.

I try to be more gentle than Savage with my comments but ........

Swirl flaps on these go out all the time. Volkswagen replaces the entire manifold. THAT said. EGR issues can actually cause genuine swirl flap issues, but EGR issues can produce false-positives on swirl flaps issues. Sooooo it can be a parts game sometimes. Been there, done that.
