2005 Touareg Transmission Error

See Video, car isn't even started.

2005 3.2L Touareg.

I checked the T14E connector and it looked really good at the transmission.

Shifter has been replaced.

There was a water issue, but all drains have been cleaned so it is starting to dry out finally.

Do not see any related codes with VAGCOM.

Where did the water pool up?
What did you all replace as a result of the flooding?

I replace crash sensor drivers side. Both foot wells were soaked. Drivers and passengers.

Why did you replace the shifter? (it's not in any of the foot wells)
What is that video showing us?

Because tiptronic wasn't working, so I replaced it. The video shows the transmission going into error, when it does this it goes into third even if you're on the highway doing 140kms. It slams due to the engine breaking. I believe I need to check the wiring at the TCM, which is on the passenger side. When I tell you there's no codes for the transmission there are no codes.

That tell tale sign (only 3rd and reverse) is an indicator that the TCM is bad..... there's NO WAY that VCDS wouldn't pick that up.

I found ATF that ran up the wire due to a bad seal all the way into the TCM, so going to see if I can open it up clean it out. If not replacement. There was a ton of fluid up there in the harness that connects under the passenger seat, I couldn't believe it.

Here's what I've got so far. Inspected wiring at trans (had a bit of fluid on it), then went up to TCM and it had fluid in the harness and a bit inside. Then I cleaned out the harness and fluid in TCM. Was still slamming. When VagCom was plugged in when it when into Error and the shift highlights the TCM was getting no communication error and slamming into 3rd. I removed the TCM to replace as it started to alway have no comminution. I went and grabbed three different TCMs from 04, 05, & 06 Touaregs and once replaced neither the existing or new ones would show up on either VCDS or the dash. This was just after I finally got the floors dry from water leaking into the cabin (cleaned the drains). My guess is the factory splice on driver's side might be the cause which is common or it's the passenger side where the fuse panel is. Looking into this weekend will take pictures and get back to you

So it still doesn't show up on the dash wondering if when I took the TCM out to clean it either lost it's programming or broke? I am checking the passenger side wiring now.

This is one of the wires right on passenger side by TCM. This wire goes to the TCM
