Hello all, I've purchased an 08 R5 about 5 months ago, live it to shreds although naturally it has its problems. Problem 1 being the DPF being gunged and coming up with a workshop warning although this is a common problem usually solved by driving in Sports mode to allows the engine heat to burn off the residual engine sediment. The latest problem which isn't so easily solved, is the rough idle and limited acceleration than is intermittent yet a little worrying, the car is due for new glow plugs and a fluids/filters next month. Upon getting to know the engine bay the only item (I'm not a diesel guy) that was cause for concern in the crack in the pipe leading from the back of the turbo to what looks like a tank that then goes to the return and also to the exhaust. Your thoughts, knowledge and expertise are welcomed.
