Hi,
New here just sold my Tiguan R-Line and looking to replace it with a Silver/Grey or White Lux/R-Line or Executive TDI.
No beige interiors please. Hoping for 85k miles or under.
I'm in Southern California but am open to transport.
Thanks for the help,
Greg

Just bumping this, still looking. Thanks for the leads (real one's that is!)

I was looking for the same thing. Ended up buying one out of Oregon from a dealer. 2014 TDI Lux with 65k miles. Black on Nougat. Autotrader saved search will find what you are looking for. Be warned, ANY capable SUV and especially any TDI has increased in price.

Agreed. Thanks for the replies and input. I'm still reeling from just missing out on a Blk/Blk dealer serviced 14' Executive with 43k miles bought out of a reputable Washington BMW dealer for 19k. The dealer mentioned a customer actually threatened a lawsuit over who arrived first with the cashier's check.
It seems some larger big volume dealers sell them low to move inventory. I'm still having a hard time understanding the massive gulf in pricing though.

Hope you can find one with that kind of mileage, they are getting far and few between since I was actively looking. I spent two years watching the market of used Touaregs while waiting for my Alltrack Lease to end. Just curious why your search doesn’t include 2016 TDI’s?

I still keep an eye out locally out of habit so I’ll send you anything I see. Good luck!

Agreed on mileage, thanks for the input and any leads. I'd definitely consider a 16' however I think I'd be priced out at that point. The 14' TDI was actually a 13' TDI - still hurts missing out. I have some concerns with emissions here in CA after the TDI warranty is up though. I wonder where the used TDI market will go once the attraction of an extended warranty is no more. We have a 14' Jetta sport wagen 6spd VW certified TDI with very low mileage and are considering selling/trading.
VW's misdeeds will be a thing of the past and will probably be singularly focused on electric in the coming years.
That said, I had no idea I would absolutely love the TDI total package - especially the Executive with the Dynaudio.

I was looking at 16s as well, and ya, they were up into the 30s. More than I wanted to spend. There was a 14 Exec at Oakland that I missed by two hours last month that was same as the one you saw. Perfect car, too good to be true.

I'm seriously glad to have found the one I did, although it doesn't have dynaudio, which I'll miss.

Good luck!

Ha, think I saw yours as well, great combo and very good deal, congrats. I'm thinking I'll have to sit tight and wait for an Executive as the few upgrades from Lux are features I really like. I'm sure Ill have to bend on colors though.

Is this Touareg in a Tuxedo on your radar?
It’s a little high on mileage per your requirements but otherwise...
2013 Porsche Cayenne AWD 4DR DIESEL - cars & trucks - by dealer -...

I’ve seen these come up more often than Touaregs lately and they seem to be lower mileage on average as their owners tend to have a plethora of cars and therefore don’t run up the miles.

Much appreciate the lead, however I'm not a fan of the Cayenne believe prefer the Touareg TDI Executive hands down in terms of styling and interior appointments. Not sure if the truck in the link is a base or sport however Touareg seems superior all around? I see bloated sports car when I see a Cayenne. Thanks again for your input.

You ought to go drive it at least. My Mother in Law has one, granted hers is an 18, and it's a real decent vehicle. Notice, I bought a Touareg, but don't discount the Pepper! Here's what I don't like about it: I am very tall, 6'6" with broad shoulders, and the seats are definitely tight for me. The Porsche dash/interior is very distinctly Porsche. If you are comfortable there, then it's really nice. Hers is a base V6, it's definitely peppier than a stock 3.6 Touareg, but it runs out of giddyup. Also, I really am not a fan of the exterior styling of the Cayenne. Some people love it, I could take it or leave it.

Bottom line, I didn't shop for a single Cayenne, but looked for weeks for the Touareg I ended up getting.

Cabin comfort is where the Touareg has a distinct advantage along with exterior styling. Maybe the Cayenne in loaded Executive trim would be more exciting.
I'm tall too, only 6'2" though and find the Touareg to be good fit, so good in fact that I think the lay out was designed with a larger driver in mind - especially considering the long seat cushion length. I appreciate the space and get claustrophobic pretty easily.
Crazy, I'd never think I'd be at a place where I'd prefer a VW over a Porsche, however we are talking SUV's.
I'll still hold firm for a 13-16 TDI Executive and try to ignore any other deals, as I've realized I'm only happy getting just what I want. Besides, good reminder that I'd be driving a car named after produce, albeit if produce could be cool, then the hot pepper would be about the coolest. Thanks again for your input.

Used Volkswagen Touareg for Sale in Denver, CO - CarGurus

Another member here (jclaghorn) is going to this dealer on the 8th to look at a 2010 TDI. Probably in transit right now from the looks of the pictures. I live in Denver and that is not what Fort Collins looks like, lol. FWIW, this dealer has a solid rep locally.

Thanks for the heads up as that is one of the color combos I've been looking for. I did talk to the dealer however service history is pretty murky with Auto-Check coming up with blanks as far as records.

Some good bargaining deductions like that and a nice pre-purchase would ease my mind on it. I love that color combo and I have an awesome TDI specialist that would go through and thoroughly check it.

Much appreciated, looks like the dealer is closed for the holidays, and through the weekend - kind of unusual given how aggressive most dealerships are. Yep, brakes and tires are relatively costly to add in to asking prices. Having a critical eye to inspect would be great.
