I recently lost the seat belt chime when removing my driver's belt while the vehicle is in motion...

This is one of those funny NA things I think you guys should change to ROW... if possible... can't see why not... but dunno how... :confused2:
Mine 'pings' six times (about once a second) when I switch the ignition on. Thereafter, it's quiet, even if I undo the belt while driving. It also doesn't have an indicator light on the instrument panel (dunno if the NA cars do...?)
It's really not that bad. If you don't want to disable the chime, see if you can somehow change it to ROW.

x2Mine does not chime because I made is stop!
The only time i hear any chime is when I open the door (when parked) with the engine running and the headlights on, OR when I turn the vehicle off and open the door, but unintentionally left the lights on (a very rare occurrence I might add)

Must be the 90 degree Texas heat messing up the electronics...
That is a bad cluster issue that you will eventually have to have replaced. If you notice any weirdness in the gauges then you may want to have it looked at. There was a recall of sorts for the gauge clusters in the 04-05 Tregs under a major service campaign they had a couple of years ago.
