Where did you lose it? :p

The seatbelt chimes while the seatbelt is undone, but only for a few mins - then it goes away.

I disabled mine with Vag-Com when I bought the vehicle. It drives me nuts and is a silly useless tool.

This is one of those funny NA things I think you guys should change to ROW... if possible... can't see why not... but dunno how... :confused2:

Mine 'pings' six times (about once a second) when I switch the ignition on. Thereafter, it's quiet, even if I undo the belt while driving. It also doesn't have an indicator light on the instrument panel (dunno if the NA cars do...?)

It's really not that bad. If you don't want to disable the chime, see if you can somehow change it to ROW.

I recently lost the seat belt chime when removing my driver's belt while the vehicle is in motion...
Any thoughts?
I kind of like it though :)
Got it back yesterday...strange after it went away for a couple of days.
Must be the 90 degree Texas heat messing up the electronics...

the same thing happened to me. It would chime periodically then all of a sudden it stopped. never came back. i love it. except it seems to have taken out the signal chime as well.
That is a bad cluster issue that you will eventually have to have replaced. If you notice any weirdness in the gauges then you may want to have it looked at. There was a recall of sorts for the gauge clusters in the 04-05 Tregs under a major service campaign they had a couple of years ago.
