2005 Touareg will not start

So, I replace the CPS sensors on the back of the engine and now it does not start, had the codes for lean bank on the left.
To be clear it did not start before, for some reason it just did not start before.

It cranks for a while, new battery, but does not fire up. I sprayed starter fluid and it will run-ish, until the fluid is consumed.

I am guessing it a fuel issue. Any ideas where to start? Any known issues on this V6?
I figure I would check the fuse and the fuel pressure, assuming it has a valve to check.

Is a bad pump likely?

If you're spraying starter fluid and it fires a bit i'd take a guess it might the fuel pump. Can't say i'm aware of any known issues, but if it won't start it's usually fuel or spark and to me it seems like fuel.

Scan for faults with VCDS.

Do you hear the fuel pump kicking in?
Disconnect a fuel line in the engine bay and see if you're getting fuel...... def sounds like lack of fuel.
