Drove an 07 V6 with the Nav package and 29k miles yesterday and will be making the deal this week! They are asking $28900 for it. Is this reasonable? How far down might they go? I have seen some posts on this forum where people paid less than 25K for an 07. The only thing it lacks for me are the roof racks, what do the OEM racks cost? Any help is appreciated!

WOW! This one is also a CPO'd and has the trailer hitch and new tires, not sure about the brakes. Would you share your tips and tactics? This is the Treg I have been looking for for months!
I have one simple tactic, if you want a great deal on any motor vehicle, don't buy through a dealer.A dealer has a threshold he'll never go below - auction price. I only buy from private parties. I live in IL, but using the searchtempest, I found my Touareg in Milwaukee, it was listed by a guy that was desperate to break his lease, so he sold for less than he owed on the lease.
By the way, I LOVE me new Touareg!
