Has anyone on here that’s done a retrofit to LED tails know if the ones on eBay from seller start245 are any good? I see they are Valeo make and that’s what my halogen stock ones are. I’d like to hop into this retrofit and would like a decent set. Any help appreciated guys.

Hi there,
Whenever you install LEDs instead of the halogens, make sure the LED bulbs you select feature a built-in load resistor. Especially when you deal with LED turn signals. Otherwise you will notice that hyperflickering, which may require cutting wires and installation of a LED load resistor. Below is the link to the LED load resistor installation. And here is an example of the resistor you may need in such a case.

Any chance you added amber turn signal bulbs to the empty sockets and got them coded to work? My T3 came with the LED tails from the factory.

Can you code them to blink only the ambers and not the brake lights?

I just tried this but to no avail. Adjusting 207/208 resulted in no noticeable changes. Adjusting 195-198 resulted in losing the rear turn signals completely.

Correct, I have OEM factory fitted LED tails in my 2015. I installed bulbs in the trays, and the wiring is there for the side markers. Is there a list that details which channel controls which light?

Curious, any modifications to the housing required to fit the turn signal bulbs in the factory LED tails?
