Hello everyone I need some help with finding a solution to my problem with my Touareg I purchase this car in April and days after purchase epc light came on sending the code faulty gas pedal went to dealership I bought the car from not a vw dealership! They sent it to a vw dealership to correct the issue. Make a long story short they keep my car three weeks I got it back three days later same problem took it back they keep it from June 10 to September 18 they changed gas peddle the whole throttle body and assembly and the light would still come on after a week also they finally changed the whole wiring harness it self. I drove it four weeks in it was great no problems I thought everything thing good! I went and had my Touareg detail a day later the problem came back!!!! This code will come on driving are Idleing it’s no Particular time when he decides to come on the EPC light and I’ll lose the pressure on my gas pedal. It wont shilfed it act like it stays in first are second gear. I will have to pullover and reset the code with my hand held coder. Right now it’s running good with out any problems for two weeks!! My concern is it will pop up again and I can’t trust it to go out of town. I have 78000 miles on my car now. I could use any help and suggestions and what to do. Thanks again Angelo C

Hello everyone I’m to find a solution to my problems. I keep getting code P2122 I have changed the pedal had the throttle body assembly replaced and wiring harness replaced and pedal repinned on both ends

I check ETKA for a brake switch on your car but I can't find one. Seems like the design has changed for your Touareg version.
If you are keeping the Touareg you better buy a vcds cable:

https://store.ross-tech.com/shop/vchv2_ent/

That's what most of us use to troubleshoot the Treg.
Maybe a member here lives in your area and can help with the scan untill you get your cable.

Yes you should go back to VW and rescan but if it costs 100$ you better spend another 100$ and get the vcds cable right away.

Should have bought VCDS from Ross-Tech.
