What transmission?

The 2015 TDI Sport has what model transmission in it? VW model #? I read on WIKIPEDIA that its an Aisin TR-80SD if it has the Volkswagen code of "OC8"

I am trying to find the service interval on the transmission. The owners manual doesn't help and the dealer wasn't to sure either.

These are Aisin "sealed for life".

There are a number of threads on "should I change the ATF" and "when" and dealers stick with the "SFL" mantra.

However common sense and practical experience says change it at 60-80,000 miles regardless.

"Sealed for life" means the fluid will last the life of the transmission - it also means it's life will be shortened!

60k, do 40k if heavy duty service, dirt roads or gravel or towing.
