Might help if you indicated your budget and location.

The reason for asking about your budget was to see which model you might be buying.

From another thread it looks like a 2014 Tdi or similar.

Good car despite the VW emissions fraud!

Buy as late as you can with as few miles as possible and a get a good warranty.

Use premium diesel from fuel stations with a good turnover of stock.

Reset the gearbox on any car you test drive before setting off.

Turn the ignition on but do NOT start the car.

Press the accelerator pedal firmly to the floor and hold it there for a full 10 seconds.

Release the pedal.

Turn the ignition off and remove the key.

You will now have cleared any previous owner's type of driving.

I didn't get an email notification so I missed this information.
Thank you now though.

The car we bought did seem a little mushy on the shifts and I mentioned it to the salesman. I wasn't too concerned because our old Audi felt very similar until I set the transmission to a sport mode.

Btw, the previous owner was an elderly Chinese lady that the salesman said drove cautiously. So your info makes sense here.
My wife was curious why she would want a diesel.

Thx.
Everyone here pulls travel trailers with a 1/2 tonne pickup. I mean 98% of everyone.

I didn't do it on purpose but the Treg in this picture is lined up to the trailer but diagonally ahead of it.
It does make the car look suitably bigger! ;)

Is this recommended only for the TDI, or for any Treg?
