I have a 3.0 TDI Touareg and lately I have a problem when it jumps out of gear, makes a loud noise and the car shakes losing power for a second. This is only when I go over 3000 rpm and I accelerate. I went to a couple of mechanics but they couldn't pinpoit the problem. Any suggestions?

Car has 126,000 miles and 2005. I already changed the transmission oil but still nothing. I noticed it only does it after driving a while and doesnt happen for the first 5-10 minutes that I start it.

Do you have the cruise control engaged when it does that?

I Got same problem with VW Touareg loss power after 100km/h, maybe change all gear box.
