Before we get too far ahead of ourselves on the V6 TDI and any negative things reflashes may bring, lets recall that VW is disputing the EPA claim on the engine, and its not part of a cheat software scandal. Completely different issue v the 2.0tdi.
This is, of course, true. But the poll question does not ask what will happen, it asks for individual perspectives. I am sharing mine. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst.

I interpret the poll choices in the context of 2.0 only. The issues raised by the first EPA NOV indirectly but adversely affect all 3.0 owners. I am holding my breath that the second EPA NOV will be rescinded.

I agree with this. There's a cloud over the 3 liter right now but hopefully VW can give the EPA, CARB etc a satisfactory explanation.

The 2 liter is busted no matter how you look at it.

The facts behind his argument have to told more broadly and vocally. The only stat that people anchored on was, "VWs pollute 40X the government standard!"

Nobody really knows what that means. 40X compared to what?!

Agree. Who with a voice is going to speak out? We've heard from Bob Lutz and he's a putz and a blowhard. He rips Tesla, too. Who else? VW can't take the lead as it wouldn't be credible.

Who's going to listen? Just doom and gloom for the moment. This Canadian posted a great video.

40x to nothing... I just got myself out of stupid '15 Dodge ram 1500. That butt hole of a truck pollutes twice as bad as the TDI and there is no "outrage"

It's all subjective. I'll bet that if the EPA tested all vehicles in North america for "cheating" they would have a collective nervous breakdown...
