Have disassembled and installed a window regulator. I am now reassembling th e interior trim and have a question. On my car, there are speakers by the door handle and a wire extending about half way down the door. Nothing to attach it to....Have I lost a wire behind the steel panel?

Second question, on the yellow connector to the window motor, there is a two wire connector, yellow/black, with no where to go. I don't remember if/where it attaches...any help appreciated.

Thanks, David. Very helpful. One question, though. In your first picture, there is a yellow/black wire at the bottom....where does it go?

Second, got everything back together sans interior door card and tried lock/handle/unlock and everything was fine. Installed door card and the damn door won't open from either side. Suggestions?

On page one you can see that wire. On page 5 the yellow plug is removed from the window motor and the yellow/blk pair is that one at the bottom that goes through the rubber busing in the metal plate. I think it's one of the ones shown in the lower photo on page 17, but I can't tell which one.

Finally got back to looking at this. Door: will not open from inside or outside!!! Worked great until I installed the inner trim panel.....suggestions?????
Is there tension on the inside lever? perhaps the cable is not properly connected to the lever/handle? The outside handle also works via cable connected on the handle, it is held in place by the "thumb button" . there is an allen head set screw accessible from the door jam that will release the thumb button for access.
Good luck!
Mike
