Timing Belt Service - DC Area
Anyone have experience with shops that wont rape me like the dealership for this 80k service? If I can keep it under 1500 bucks, I'll be in heaven.
I was going to check out Volkswerks in VA, but theres some mixed reviews about them all over the interwebs...
OO_Bora I just got a quote from an independent shop in the Twin Cities that specializes on German cars (mainly Audis, BMWs and Porsches). Excellent reputation in the racing community. They quoted me $1380 incl all the usual stuff (pump, tensioners, belts, anti-freeze, rollers etc.). That's exactly $400 less than what VW quoted me here.
