Looks like your old account is using an old email address which would explain why you cant reset your password.

Follow the directions near the beginning of this thread and you will be fine. It is not hard to do. Once all the X's become √'s the password is good to go.

Jimbuffalo2 Not sure why I couldn't update my account/password, so I ended up creating another. When an enthusiast site becomes like a bank, it's time to get a new hobby. (this from the guy who still can't figure out how to upload a photo). So I am back, as in touareg2

noobytoogy Why not, TechAdmin, be proactive and enable new members to see links immediately, then monitor spam attempts, and tell us, after, say, a month, if it is the issue you claim it to be because, frankly, a lot of us think you are being singularly unhelpful.

mers tend to use that area to add a link to promote whatever is they are spamming. By having a minimum of posts made before you see that option allows us to see if they are real members or sneaky spammers and will not be approved and banned from the site.
