Hi Chid,
I'm thinking of doing the same thing, can you please (or anyone else) tell if you managed to fix the error message issue? any other issues?
Thanks!

Recalibrate the suspensions? well, I didn't know about that, my mechanic didn't mention it either. I'll get the electricals sorted and do some programming asap. I'll be on the watch out, but I think I'm cool with the spring shocks for now.

Hi,

How's the ride and what did you use for the conversion? A conversion kit of springs and shock absorbers for an original Touareg? Are you happy with the conversion so far? I am thinking about doing the same thing for my 2006 V8 Touareg.

No. You need 505.01 or 506.01 approved oil. See my signature.

All vw/audi engines must use 507.00 spec oil except non-DPF R5/V10 engines that must use 505.01/506.01
