VW Touareg models are as follows:
Generation 1: T1 is model 7LA & facelift T2 is model 7L6
Generation 2: T3 is model 7P5 & facelift T4 is model 7P6
Generation 3: T5 is model CR7 [Not available in "VW Atlas" North America!]

Just spotted this and think that it's a great idea. the S6 DRLs aren't cheap though so I'll keep looking.

What a great write up on how to solve this problem top marks!!!! looks like Ill be getting in there soon I noticed a puff of smoke coming up from the rear of the bonnet on my R50 now the engine is surging under power Many thanks Tc

Lucky for you you have an 05. 06, is a different animal when they moved the fuel filter out of the valley and replaced it with what I presume is an EGR cooler. Basically the EGR pipe you take off of the valve in an 05 continues to the valley and then a short ~1ft section comes back from the valley to the EGR valve (photo. It makes this job a whole lot more interesting. Currently piecing together the documents to tear the EGR off completely so I can actually continue to use your guide.
