This forum has been really helpful in my investigation on this old lady.. Thanks!
I have a Touareg V10 T1 2006 (build date 08/2005) with 217000 km, 134000 Miles
The problem with the car is when cold tranmissions shift pretty good, but when engine is at operation temperature abs module kick in ( i think)
VCDS shows no fault on engine, transmission and abs module, but in transmission i have a measurement block called "rolling resistance" from 0 to 100%. When the car is cold the rolling resistance is around 0 but when warm it says up to 100% and transmission will first upshift over 2000 rpm.
at first i think this would be the G419 sensor because if i unplug it car runs perfect, but several lights on dash.
I have tried with another G419 sensor with same outcome.. also after basic setting.
On a friends Touareg V6TDI (no air suspension) VCDS show around 0% Rolling resistance, so i think this i part of my problem, but i cant find much about rolling resistance here and google
At a transmission workshop here in Denmark, After a short drive he diagnostic the problem as a converter, but drives perfect in Tiptronic, i dont believe that..
Things i have replaced in my search
Valve body (Reman VW). Thermostat, G419 module, TCM module, new brakes, new tires, EGR delete, Wiring check from transmission to tcm.
I has VCDS and think i have been through every measurement block in the program
I hope really someone here can help
Best regards Christian from Denmark
