V10 TDI Egr Delete/Cooler Delete

I have a Malone tune with DPF and EGR deletes. Car is currently having the intakes/throttle bodies and egr valves cleaned and replacing the fuel and tandem pump gaskets.

Question is should the EGR cooler just be deleted while it is out, Anyone know what EGR Delete plates will work? Plenty to chose from if I had a jetta!

Your in luck! The 1.9 block off plates for a Jetta work on the v 10. You just need two sets.

I have done some work with a guy and in the process of the DPF and EGR delete we removed the whole cooler assembly in the valley and replaced it with a custom made oil catch can unit. Just block off the EGR at the exhaust manifold connection and remove all the pipe work and cooler. Loop the coolant hoses back. Works a treat as the space available for oil catch install on a V10 is very limited.

Got all the parts, have the intakes cleaned, ready to go back together. I'll have to look at different catch cans to see what may work.
