V10 generator drive tools

So Iím deep into the V now, generator out, new one on the way. Have the tool for freewheel clutch replacement on the generator, but cannot find info on r&r for the drive gear on the engine. Bentley group 13 only shows tools and procedure for doing the shaft seal, but I canít get the gear off. It is retained by an XZN 12 bolt. Gear has a 27mm (1 1/16) hex counterhold. Is there a tool for this? LH threads perhaps? How much torque? (The gear on the generator takes 80 NM.)

If you want the real thing as far as workshop stuff goes then I suggest you buy yourself an hour on VW''s erwin system.

OK, I dug deeper into my old Bentley and found it under Group 27 Electrical Equipment. So no left-hand threads and no special tool, just 50NM plus 90 degrees.
