Angry Forced DPF regen on an 09

Can someone point me to directions on doing this? I can't seem to find specific for the CATA.

With the VCDS I've entered 27971 for secure access, then basic settings and selected Regen, but the GO button isn't clickable. Am I missing something?

I had codes p2463 and p2002, and all the bells, but I've been sitting with the engine at temp, but idling, trying to figure this out. I shut down, and now CEL or flashing glow plug light.

Do you have a road where you can drive at a steady 100 km/h for more than 30 mins. If so the system should auto regenerate for you. Sorry I can't help with the forced regen, as I the last time I did one was 5 years ago.

I do, there's major highway close by. What's really odd is, the errors are all gone. No more codes, or warning lights. I went for a hard drive in S mode, but the regen mileage didn't move. I think the DPF sensor may be out. The one I had replaced last year.

I think it's time for a DPF delete.

I can add to this from experience that the forced regen will not work (it will abort) if you have certain engine faults otherwise.
I have done forced regens to separate vehicles using the Rosstech procedure with no issues.

While it looked like the errors had all cleared yesterday, they're all back this morning. So I'm off to the dealer as soon as possible. YEAH.

No, I'm still having problems. I'm almost doing a forced regen every week. I suspect the DPF pressure sensor. I need to get it checked when I have all the lights and stuff on. I'm tempted to get it deleted, but as VW may be buying it back, I'm not going to invest that type of money.
