Oil for T1 Transfer Case...????

So what is the recommended oil for the T1 transfer case, other than the VW stuff????? Looking at replacing it with Redline, but not sure what to use. Redline's web site indicates D4.

i would use only OEM, you only need 1 liter of oil and you dont need to change it 50K +

As above - just go to your dealer and get the right 850 ml [not a litre!] pot you need.

USE OEM. I'd stay away from Redline. I'd recommend OEM for transfer case and Fuchs or OEM for diff and trans.

I have the proper OEM and fuchs oils if needed.
