Driveshaft center bearing replacement

I believe my carrier bearing is shot. I was going to replace it myself, I've done it on my Nissan frontier.

But from the looks of it, it appears that I need to replace the entire driveshaft? Is this true?

I've already ordered the carrier bearing support. It was $170.

You will have to disassembly the CV joint in order to press the bearing on. Make sure you preserve the original orientation of both halves in order to keep the shaft balanced.

Search doesn't work on an Android with the tap talk app.

you really are a dick.

I searched for about 2 hours running through countless pages, even coming across another post where you quoted the "search tool."

Maybe you should search google for table manners. You remind me of Maud, from the lebowski, "you want a drink?" "Sure," "The bars over there.."

I know about the search tool. On this site its like searching for atlantis.

and thanks.

Im going to get my guys at Audi/porsche to do it for free in their spare time. I don't have half those tools.
